AGARTALA, Jan 18 (TIWN): A massive protest rally followed by mass-deputation to Tripura State Electricity Corporation (TSECL) was staged in Agartala by CPI-M units against the privatization mode of recruitment in the Govt departments.

Addressing at the protest rally, DYFI Secretary Nabarun Deb said, “The new recruitment not only will cause deprivations, but also to add corruption which has already infected various departments”.

“Till now, the TSECL employees had certain security. Govt had liabilities to its employees, but the new recruitment will hit the employees”, Nabarun Deb told the gathering.

“Nobody knows where the BJP Govt is taking the employees and unemployed youths. Along with nation, in the state also continuously unemployment rates are increasing. Tripura was not in top position before Election 2018 but today Tripura tops in unemployment”, said Nabarun Deb.
