AGARTALA, Jan 14 (TIWN): Lawyers body demanded Judicial probe in Sushanta Ghosh murder case.

All India Lawyers’ Union (AILU) members today visited the custodial murder victim Sushanta Ghosh’s home and met the family members, demanded Judicial probe instead of Magisterial.

ALIU also condemned the role of Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb after the custodial murder of Sushanta Ghosh at West Agartala Police Station.

Addressing media, AILU Tripura Secretary Bhaskar Debbarma said, “It is totally a planned murder and that’s why the CCTV was off. It is now quite clear it was a murder. Police statement about CCTV camera is the proof that it was a murder”, he said.

“The Chief Minister can roam across the state, have meals but why no time for the victim family ? Not a single statement was given by the Chief Minister in the incident”, Debbarma told media.
