AGARTALA, November 6 (TIWN): While reacting to Bijan Dhar’s statement, Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president Ashish Kumar Saha on Thursday said that by making such statement Bijan Dhar once again played CPI (M)’s old game.

And highlighting the recent serial scams- Bishalgarh RD Block, Pecharthal, Rupaicharri, Kailasahar CMO office scam, Kumarghat Horticulture Dept. Scam, Mr. Saha claimed that Chief Minister Manik Sarkar  the so called Mr. Clean has opened the door for the scamsters and made a pathway for scams in Tripura.

Ashish  Saha said that at first when CM Manik Sarkar always remained back track from taking the corruption in front of public, on the other the CPI (M) is now making a baseless statement since after the opposition congress busted out the Bishalgarh RD Block multi-crore scam.

Commenting on Bijan Dhar’s statement on INPT and IPFT’s Twipra Land demand, Mr. Saha said that “Bijan Babu” has put cotton on his ear and he remained much busy with the CM Manik Sarkar to put him and his party into a fake success due to which he is not aware of it, when the congress has always moved forward in protest of Twipra Land Demand. Therefore it’s a high time for the communist party to develop the remote areas of the state, Saha added.

It is to be mentioned here that yesterday CPI (M) State Secretary Bijan Dhar criticized the role of media and claimed that a section of electronics and the print media are still making the water dirty regarding the scams of the state.

While talking to the media persons yesterday in a press conference at CPI (M) State party headquarter CPI (M) state secretary Bijan Dhar highlighting the Bishalgarh RD Block Rs. 50 crore scam and blamed the opposition as well as a section of media. Why you all are making the water dirty, when the state govt. has taken all the necessary steps against the scam? said Bijan Dhar.

Mr. Dhar acting as a clean  man made an easy excuse from the Bishalgarh Corruption case, where Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s close aide Bimal Chakroborty fell on a trap. He said when the state govt. has taken all the legal steps against Bimal, on the other media making the water dirty till today are framing fake and baseless news on television and newspapers, with which they are trying to confuse the people of the state on corruption issues.

CPI (M) state secretary Bijan Dhar on Wednesday during the press conference made an easy avoid to media’s question on Bishalgarh RD Block scam. Beside when asked about his view on the police role over Chandrapur TATA Kalibari incident and Bishalgarh RD Block Scam, Mr. Dhar said that police is looking into the matter.

However, but it is to be mentioned here that the CPI (M) and the left front govt. keeping their old game prevailed, once again curtained the serial corruption of the state even after the Manik Sarkar’s scams busted out. Is it now another tactics of the ruling CPI (M) to curtain the fact that the media publish? To comment here highlighting the fact has always been the duty of the media and Its CM Manik Sarkar and his govt. who lost every capacity now to tolerate the fact that goes against him. With this the ruling left front – a serial scam producer at the state Tripura is of course now under the pressure of the opposition and media. Therefore it’s a time now to witness what steps  Manik Sarkar and his party takes to face the recent corruptions.
