AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): CPI-M Party has organized a massive rally in Agartala in protest against party office burning in 3 spots.

The 3 party offices are : 1) Narshingarh, 2) AD Nagar, 3) East Agartala zonal office.

The last incident with AD Nagar took place after a successful strike was organized by the Leftists in Tripura and public gave massive response to it. With petrol bombs, the party office was burnt along with rate books.

Today Manik Sarkar visited Narshingarh CPI-M’s burnt party office after he visited two more party offices in last two days at AD Nagar and East Agartala zonal office of the Communist party.

This incident unexpectedly covered by big national TV channels, although generally Tripura remains out of national media limelight. Moreover, for Tripura such violence and attacks by ruling party is no more surprising.
