AGARTALA, Jan 2 (TIWN): On Thursday, the 4 accused in ATM hacking case had been produced in a Court in Agartala. Two of the four accused are residents of Turkey and the other two of them belong to Bangladesh.
The 4 were arrested from Kolkata and as per production date were brought up before the court on Thursday. Crime Branch Investigating Officer demanded 5 days Police remand for the accused. Till now court did not passed its order.
Several FIRs were lodged at various police stations complaining loss of money. Cyber crime branch after conducting investigation revealed that hackers came to Agartala on 1st week of November and thereafter installed devices to hack the ATM’s and later left Agartala on 14th November 2019 and withdrew money from various ATM”s at Kolkata.
