AGARTALA, Dec 30 (TIWN): Inactive role of Gomati district police superintendent Ramesh Reddy during December 24’s violence in Udaipur which erupted after CPI-M kicked off a rally was biasedly handled and as expected no action was taken by BJP’s co and Yuva Morcha’s clase Gomati District SP Ramesh Reddy. However, all the hooligans were identified and given with details alongwith residential addresses at Udaipur and reportedly, opposition CPI-M activists have marked them with profiles and kept all video evidences to use legally later times Former Minister Ratan Bhowmik, ex MLA Madhab Saha and many senior leaders were seriously injured. Many supporters also wounded on December 24. More than 200 BJP supporter gheraoed the political party office. The CPI-M activists were feeling very much insecure inside political party office.
There were senior citizens also and their health condition getting deteriorated.
On the other side, also more than 30-40 BJP supporters gathered local subdivision hospital, Udaipur town although the hospital is always prohibited to gather more than 5 people at a particular place without any specific reasons.
The CPI-M supporters had asked Police to check the CCTV footage 24/12/2019 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
However, as inactive role was displayed, ex-CM Manik Sarkar has written a letter to DGP A K Sukla seeking his intervene to stop this violent-culture and bloodshed trend by ruling party.

Reacting over the broad day light attacks of BJP on CPI-M’s rally, ex-CM, Opposition leader Manik Sarkar on December 27, has written a letter to DGP A K Sukla asking him to ensure safety to the people.
Sarkar complained about Police’s bias and mute role to protect the CPI-M activists leaders when such attacks were being took place.
In a letter to DGP Manik Sarkar briefed about December 18’s Belonia attack and December 24’s Udaipur attack incident where MLA and senior leaders were injured.
“Common men are raising questions and in presence of police CPI-M workers while exercising their democratic rights could be attacked by the supporters of the ruling party BJP………….why did the police not act duly to prevent the attackers ?”, Manik Sarkar added in his letter to DGP.
Sarkar in the letter has demanded that Police must stop such attacks and terrors on common men and action against Belonia and Udaipur hooligans must be taken.
