AGARTALA, Dec 28 (TIWN): Friday, Indian National Congress celebrated its 135th Foundation Day, all over the Country and the state.

Addressing the media, senior congress leader Gopal Roy said, congress brought independence if India with a lot of struggle of the national leaders and sacrifice of many.

Roy, strongly criticized the ruling BJP Govt. and its policies, claiming it to be solely responsible for the ruination of the overall situations in the country. While talking with the media he said, “JUMLA SARDAR, Modi did nothing good for the country, rather he brought poverty, unemployment and economic crisis, price hikes with him”. He added, whenever questions are raised on price hikes, the leaders in the central answer , that they don’t eat the particular item.

On talking about the present situation in the state, Congress Leader Gopal Roy slammed Tripura CM Biplab Deb accusing him as good for nothing. He said, “Here in Tripura, Biplab and company ruined the state in their 20 months of tenure”. There is no job, no MNREGA work, no allowances , farmers, daily workers are in terrible condition, govt. employees have pending DA, no promises of the Vision Document has been kept by the BJP’s , he added .
