AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Senior CPI-M leader Babul Bhadra who passed away on yesterday was paid floral tribute before funeral process.
All senior leaders led by Ex-CM Manik Sarkar was present in the last adieu.
He was CPI-M’s farmers’ wing leader. Today morning at around 8.30 am his health suddenly fell when he reached at the CPI-M Party office. He was brought in IGM hospital immediately but on the way he passed away.
Gathering of CPI-M supporters were observed in the hospital after the incident.
Addressing media, former MP Sankar Prasad Dutta said that Babul Bhadra was a resident of Udaipur earlier and then shifted in Agartala and was a very simple in nature and attire.
He was a State Committee member who played a vital role to organize the Khet Majdoor union in the hospital.
