AGARTALA, Dec 25 (TIWN): Amid BJP’s poor performance across India and massive resentment of public against JUMLAs in Tripura, Chief Minister cum BJP State President Biplab Deb said that BJP will rule Tripura for a long time and he will give that to his workers.

“May be I can’t give jobs to you, may be economy is not well……….but one thing I promise which is I will give you a BJP Govt which will rule Tripura for the long time”, CM said while addressing in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary.

Taking a dig at Congress party, Biplab Deb said that Congress party was supported to be closed after independence by Mahatma Gandhi but the then PM Jawaharlal Nehru for his lust for power stopped it to happen.
