BJP Govt hikes Tripura’s Electricity tariffs further, huge burden on common man

AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Dec 25 (TIWN): After hiking 5% tariff on Electricity, once again Electricity tariffs have been increased under the BJP Govt.
This time the hike is of 7.5%.
In a notification issued on October 2019, it has been said that for the persons whose bills below Rs. 400 not to be subjected of that hiked electricity bill, whereas other consumers under energy charge, fixed charge to give 5% tariff and for others 7.5%.
The duty to be shown from 2020, January.
