AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): The violence raised in Tripura regarding Citizenship Amendment Act made hundreds of people homeless. But the Govt is not showing any concern regarding this serious issues . Instead CM Biplab Deb is more interested in having lunch on common people house and standing with smile Infront of camera , unaware of the crucial situation ,Tripura is going under through.
During No-CAB strike across Tripura jointly led by various regional parties , violence against Bengalis increased .On 10th December ,some IPFT hooligans attacked on 92 Bengali families in Anandabazar area of Kanchanpur.Almost 378 people , including children to women and old people got injured ,houses were set on fire . People are staying in the Ananda bazar PS for past 6 days .But no action were been taken against such violence neither the government provided any help to the refugees ,so far.
Oppositions have slammed IPFT for playing the double role on CAB with BJP.
"The IPFT will be in power and to implement the Act in alliance with BJP and IPFT and on the other side IPFT will be protesting against the act.This is nothing but double role of IPFT." Said one leader of CPI-M's indigenous wing Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP).
