AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): Neither common men, nor the regional parties in Tripura were ready for Citizenship Amendment Bill’s placement in the Parliament.

Indeed, a major section of people do not even know what is CAB.

As before Lok Sabha election, Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured, no CAB in Northeast, so basically regional parties even weren’t ready for CAB’s sudden hurry to be passed.

A survey has revealed that although Educated section and politically aware public are either opposing or supporting CAB, but huge numbers of people do not even know what is CAB. However, economic losses reported due to this strike and many drivers told media, why often there are strike and Govt is not taking any action ?

Working class people in Tripura while talking to media alleged economic losses and said, “We are unable to realize why are they calling strikes so frequently”.

Infact, many are thinking this strike was called for Tipraland by IPFT whereas the main strike was called by regional parties.
