AGARTALA, November 3 (TIWN): Mystery of suspicious theft of two computers containing valuable data pertaining to central sponsored scheme, Sarbasiksha Abhiyan (SSA) under Education Department. Other than one almirah was also found broken, which may probably contains some valuable informations regarding income and expenditure of SSA, said official sources. This had led to put a question mark that what is the main reason of this theft. Is it merely a case or a successful attempt to wind away the financial dissipates or attempt to hide the earthed scam of this department ? Official sources informed that, after the opening of the Sarba Sikshya Mission office, near Office lane on Monday morning, it had come to notice that, two computers are missing from the table and the lock of an almirah under establishment section was broken.

It is to be mentioned here that all the income and expenditure reports and cash of payment in Sarba Siksha are stored in this almirah. However, West Agartala Police had rushed to the spot and started investigation. Though no one yet been arrested in connection with this incident.

Now, it is assumed that after multicrore scam of Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan and Bishalgarh R.D.Block, another major scam in SSA is brewing. The scamsters of this department are trying to destroy all the evidences before they are being caught off.

In  21 years of uninterrupted rule of Left Front government in Tripura, it is observed that proportion of crimes, underdevelopment and corruptions have increased to a record extent.

Highlighting “major scams" during the Left regime, it may be said that Tripura has a politically motivated Govt with a view to save the corrupt ruling party leaders and for the purpose of legalizing all cases of corruption committed during the 19-year rule of Left parties."Therefore, undoubtedly it can be said that “Tripura had been facing a worst government ever under Manik Sarkar".
