AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): Two drug smugglers were arrested by Police in drug smuggling connection, whereas one is absconding.

With the drug smugglers huge amounts of heroin was seized and also cashes were seized.

According to Police information, these heroin items were to move towards Teliamura.

Police were informed via secret sources that Sayan Das, Sanjay Roy, Bijoy Deb are transporting drugs and Bijoy Deb was to take these items from Teliamura’s Badar Chowmuhani.

When police rushed to the spot, Bijoy managed to escape whereas rest two persons were arrested.

Police also said that Bijoy Deb was released before few days in a same case.
