AGARTALA, Nov 30 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb recently mounted a bill of Rs. 9 lakhs and then only in one day of Kali puja, he wasted Rs. 6 lakhs on Helicopter rides, alleged Congress senior leader Gopal Roy.

In an interview with TIWN, Gopal Roy exposed the helicopter billing issue and raised question, in such a poverty gripped state where mother is selling her baby due to poverty, people are committing suicide, Chief Minister’s luxury has no end.

“If the previous CM Manik Sarkar was criticized as Heli-rider, the present CM Biplab Deb is Super-heli-rider”, Gopal Roy told TIWN.

He further disclosed that the particular officer in the dept is unwilling to clear the bill of helicopter rides as these are not Govt bill and then BJP said, it will clear the bill.
