AGARTALA, Nov 28 (TIWN): Petrol prices in Agartala have been turning more volatile, as prices of crude oil have been showing a firm trend. Todays petrol price in Agartala ₹ 75.50 (28th November 2019).
The petrol and diesel prices are revised daily. The rupee has also moved lower against the dollar, which has made petrol prices in Agartala more expensive than before. Due to high excise duties, the rates have remained uncontrolled.
The retail prices of petrol and diesel remained unchanged for the second consecutive day on Thursday (November 28) across major cities of the country. In national capital Delhi, a litre of petrol today costs Rs 74.76 while diesel costs Rs 65.73 per litre, no change compared with Wednesday’s price.
Worth mentioning here is that the pump prices of fuel are the cheapest Delhi among all metros and most state capitals due to lower taxes.
