AGARTALA, Nov 27 (TIWN): In the Vision Document after scripting in bold letters that if BJP comes in power it will "Regularize Contractual Govt Employees", inside the Document categorically BJP said it will end the uncertainty problems of the SSA, RMSA teachers. In Page 6, Vision Document quoted, “The Government will remove job related uncertainties from the minds of the teachers working under SSA, RMSAâ€.But now after assuming power after 19 months of the Govt, not even pending 2.25 arrears are being given, no salary was hiked for the SSA teachers, whereas in many states SSA teachers are already regularized. It has been more than 2 years that SSA employees salaries were not hiked, whereas other employees of Tripura had received hiked salaries under Pay Matrix. But even after 6 months of completion, the new government is not increasing any single paisa salary. Not only that the SSA employees who have expired, from State Govt no help was done to the teachers, no death benefit has not been given by the government.
On the other side, Assam govt has already been given expired SSA teachers’ family to 5 lakh of compensation.
However, from the observation it's now clear that even though in Vision Document with bold letters BJP promised, "Regularization of all contractual Govt employees", but nothing will be done so far and so far busy to suppress the movement of SSA, whereas before the Election incumbent CM Biplab Deb (as BJP President), Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Sunil Deodhar, NC Debbarma all had shed crocodiles' tears for SSA teachers' regularization.
SSA, RMSA teachers received a major jolt in the Assembly on Sep 2, 2019 after Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said that SSA, RMSA teachers are central govt employees and central govt already stopped funding for them whereas Tripura Govt extended their jobs till September 2019, however, the Central Govt has considered that period and allocated funding till September 2019 and after that what will happen, it can not be said now, but Education dept checking the matters.
