AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): Former CPI-M Minister who was in jail custody and admitted in GB today expressed thankfulness to the Doctors and nurses of GB hospital.
Talking to media, Badal Choudhury said that Doctors at GB hospital are taking care of him very well whereas he said, “Police are doing their jobs. They are just doing interrogations. It is police’s work”.

On November 16, Badal Chowdhury’s health turned critical in last one month due to alleged police’s torture and inhuman treating according to the allegation brought by one advocate of Badal Chowdhury.
Badal Chowdhury was shifted in ICU, his health is critical.
When court sent Badal Chowdhury in JC, rejecting police remand on 15th November, Badal Chowdhury’s health status was “fit” and within one day, downed his health, led him to be admitted in ICU.
Earlier, multiple times police’s torture led his health to down whereas now Police’s attitude reportedly developed.
