AGARTALA, Nov 13 (TIWN): Senior most judge of Tripura High Court Subasish Talapatra, has been appointed as acting Chief Justice of Tripura High Court.

Ministry of Law and Justice has reportedly issued this notification on Monday night.

This notification was issued as Chief Justice Sanjay Karol, who was the Chief Justice of Tripura High Court was transferred to Patna High Court.

Thus, Ministry of Law and Justice appointed Justice Subasish Talapatra as the acting Chief Justice of Tripura High Court.

Then Justice Akil Abdulhamid Kureshi reportedly to join as Tripura High Court Chief Justice on Nov 16.
