AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Nov 8 (TIWN): Former PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury today raised allegation of "murder conspiracy" against him in the Court during the hearing in a politically motivated case filed against him by BJP Govt in construction works of 2008-09 under the Left Govt. Court on Friday, on the medical ground and based on Badal Chowdhury's arguments, kept the Police custody plea of Govt side on hold and again on November 11, the hearing will be pronounced. Till then, the former Minister to stay in Jail custody for 3 days under 100% medical care and Court also directed police and the administration to give Badal Chowdhury the deserved respect according to his designation and social reputation. Any kind of misbehaviour like police did at ILS, hospital and in West Agartala Police Station on 30th November has been prohibited by Court. Addressing media, Advocate Purushottom Roy Barman said, "Badal Chowdhury to be kept in Jail custody till 11th November and the Govt side demanded Police custody for Badal Chowdhury for 7 days, whereas we have talked against it. Court will hear on this issue on November 11".
"We have also appealed to court to be kind enough to take a neutral judgment and also exposed why do they (Govt sides) want Badal Chowdhury in Police custody. They want Badal Chowdhury in Police custody just to insult him, embarrass him which already they did openly", said Purushottom Roy Barman.
"There is no need of Police custody because ultimate aim is to interrogate and that can be done during the jail custody too. We have also cited how 19 years old boy Mangal Das, who was murdered in police custody at R K Pur PS and if Mangal Das was not given police custody then Mangal Das could be survived", said Purushottom Roy Barman.

Badal Chowdhury reportedly by name mentioned his murder conspirators' names before the Court, but right now advocates are not entertaining media to disclose the conspirator names and asked media to hold patience till 11th November.
Today I/O Ajay Kumar Das delayed the hearing as he didn't reach at GB to take Badal Chowdhury to Court.

Today Badal Chowdhury's advocates did not appealed for any bail, rather appealed for Jail custody.
