KOLKATA, Nov 1 (TIWN): Following the illegal steps of BJP Govt and inhuman barbaric tortures on cpi-m former Minister Badal Choudhury, CPI-M marched a massive protest today here in Kolkata voicing against fascist Govt and its British-style attack on the opposition at Tripura.

The whole protest march flooded Kolkata’s Rajpath today followed by the incident of October 30.

On October 30, during hearing of Badal Choudhury’s bail petition in the High Court, he was dragged from hospital bed in hospital dress and put into lockup and soon Badal Choudhury’s health fell further and immediately taken to GB hospital. In ILS Police also tortured Badal Choudhury and a lady police officer allegedly has slapped Badal Choudhury’s wife.

Addressing the gathering comrade Amiyo Patro said, “A person who was in life support in the ICU was brutally taken out of the hospital bed and dragged him in the Police station where his health fell further. Police said, Badal Choudhury is doing drama and all supports were snatched from him and again when his health issues turned critical, Doctor immediately ordered him to admit him in the ICU and again hospitalized.  We are surprised to see the BJP day by day. There is no impossible task for the BJP to disobey the democracy and displaying inhumanity”.

“There are certain, minimum rules and laws in the Democracy but in Tripura the democracy is butchered already. No election is fair anymore in Tripura”, said Amiyo Patro.

“We say proudly across globe about Indian democracy but the BJP has murdered it at best as it can”, said the leaders adding, “If you think, there will be a fair Election in Tripura again, it is impossible under BJP”.

Examples, how BJP butchering Democracy in Tripura : In a major shame for BJP Govt and its police, BJP IT cell has got CCTV footage of West Agartala Police station in an unethical move by OC-Subrata Chakraborty. It was OC of West Agartala PS Subrata Chakraborty who forced Badal Choudhury to sit with a thief inside lockup and interestingly, within few minutes BJP IT cell received that footage and made them viral. This incident happened on October 30, when Badal Choudhury was brought from ILS hospital to West Agartala PS ‘by force’ in hospital dress and also Badal Choudhury amid high BP alleged media against Subrata Chakraborty while taken to GB. He and his wife in separate places alleged how they were manhandled.

Badal Choudhury’s wife to file FIR against ILS for mistreating of her husband, specially by Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) backed Doctor Tamojit Nath who insulted Badal Choudhury daily, but with no surprise, the Doctor gets immediate promotion in the BJP party as made as the BJP’s Mandal Pratinidhi of Jubarajnagar (North Tripura). This action again proves, case against Badal Choudhury is politically motivated and Biplab Deb thus failed to act as Tripura Chief Minister and just misused the CM’s chair as a BJP State President. The BJP’s Chief Minister Biplab Deb also congratulated all mandal presidents and pratinidhis for their new posts. It has been alleged that when Badal Choudhury was admitted in ILS hospital, Dr Tamojit thrown comment on him, “You thief, how many days will you stay here after looting 600 crores ?” It was the Doctor who with other few staffs in the ILS forced Badal Choudhury’s discharge without “Billing Matter”.
