AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): In a bankers’ meet and loan discussion programme, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has told media that on the basis of needs and marketing loans will be given to people and mentioned with potentialities, Tripura has needs.

In example, Chief Minister Biplab Deb said that 13 crores of eggs are needed in Tripura whereas it would cost 60 crores but if by loans the expenditure can be given then 60 crores will stay inside Tripura only in case of eggs.

He also said, Banks will identify who can be given loans to produce those eggs and for example 10 people will be given loans.

Indeed, in various projects, Govt will be focusing distributing loans including agriculture, food processing.

He said, Banks will be going to people and offering loans based on their needs.

It must be mentioned here, this has been suspected as another way to fool the public to save central govt from allocating funds for Tripura, whereas previous Manik Sarkar Govt used to give eggs to animal husbandry related items, animals at free of cost.

He mentioned that at Bamutia and Bishalgrah eggs are produced but from there only 75 lakhs of eggs come and thus now Banks will select around 10 such loan-beneficiaries who can afford the loans and total 13 crores eggs can be produced inside state to stop Rs. 60 crore’s outgoing.
