AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): ILS hospital, which is known for its high-billing treatments how without billing papers discharged CPI-M Former Minister Badal Choudhury and in hospital dress left him to police , it has triggered questions. Choudhury was forcefully taken out from ILS hospital, although has been claimed as “discharged” by hospital. But question is why the discharge of opposition leader Badal Choudhury was so in emergency that hospital did not get time to change Badal Choudhury’s dress which was given by ILS hospital with its logo ? The stage of Badal Choudhury is so critical and so much pressure on him and his family is right now, that it would be better if Badal Choudhury could be taken out of the state for better treatment.Today, the main police official who forced Badal Choudhury to put in lock-up was OC, West Agartala PS Subrata Chakraborty.

Reacting over the whole incident and brutality on Badal Choudhury, eminent Lawyer Bikas Bhattacharjee called BJP Govt “Asobhyo” which means uncivilized.

Congress leader, former State President Gopal Roy on Thursday has condemned Biplab Deb Govt’s barbaric attack on opposition leader Badal Choudhury, saying, “When no law was existing in the society on that time, such barbaric attitudes could be displayed but what police did yesterday with Badal Choudhury has crossed the primitive era”.

“I strongly condemn it. The way Badal Choudhury was openly forced to come out of ILS hospital, in hospital dress, this is just limiting my words of condemnation”, he said.

“If Badal Choudhury is guilty then he will be punished but before proving him guilty, when he is severely ill, what was the need of such activity ?”, he asked.

Roy pointed, whereas Badal Choudhury was already arrested, what was the need of put that ill person in the lockup ?

He warned, “History repeats and Biplab Deb Govt will realize that when they have to answer for their today’s unconstitutional, barbaric activities and such levels of violation of law”.

“Don’t violate the human rights, don’t violate the law because what will happen after 5 years, 10 years who knows ?”, Gopal Roy added.

Roy asked, “When Badal Choudhury was already arrested, police are there, what was the fear of police that he needed to be immediately put inside the lockup ?”

Gopal Roy argued, Badal Choudhury was forcefully taken out of the hospital and further condemned police’s barbaric behavior inside police station which were shown in the TV channels.
