AGARTALA, Oct 29 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has visited killed party worker’s family today at Sonamura who was murdered by BJP activist.

Manik Sarkar visited the murder spot and also talked to police to look properly into the case.

The brutal murder of CPI-M activist Tufan Debbarman has devastated his whole family, left old parents behind.

The alleged political murder was held ahead of ADC Election, generated tension and resentment.

This is not the first political murder under 19 months of the BJP Govt but many more CPI-M activists were murdered in this period.

Resident of Sonamura, Chowmuhani Anchal Committee member Tufan Debbarma was taken from his home and murdered.

The accused person behind the murder is a BJP worker named Birjit Debbarma. Today former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has visited the house of the deceased person.
