AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): In Tripura total 1213 TET qualified candidates remain jobless and under such a situation of job-drought, when "One time relaxation TET exam" was conducted by Tripura govt, depriving unemployed youths, one more deprivation blueprint is ahead as Govt decided now to merge huge numbers of Govt schools. Relaxation in recruitment has generated massive resentments among the job-aspirants.Unemployed youths have complained that in the month of September 2018 TET session 1 exam was conducted and in that exam TET 1 358 candidates qualified and TET 2 total 441 candidates qualified, in total 799 candidates ( earlier it was 791) qualified for the 2018 session 1 examination.

In the month of December 2018 TET session 2 exam was conducted and on that exam TET 1 qualified 184 candidates and TET 2 qualified 230 candidates, in total 414 candidates qualified for the 2018 session 2 examination.

Combining session 1 and session 2  (799+414)= total 1213 qualified candidates are their in the state but not a single job was given to those qualified candidates. On the other hand 450 candidates qualified for the STGT exam and 10 candidates qualified for the  STPGT exam, in total 460 candidates qualified for STGT & STPGT exam and they also remained jobless till now.

In total (1213 + 460 ) = 1673 candidates remain jobless in Tripura who qualified TET -1 , TET-2 , STGT , STPGT exam in recent time.

On the other side. Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has announced to shutdown 961 schools by merging them with other schools in the name of "Quality Education". This decision was taken when thousands of unemployed youths are roaming jobless even after qualifying the TET Examination. Instead of recruiting teachers and staffs to mitigate the massive unemployment rate, Govt has taken decision to minimize numbers of schools and thus decade-long struggles of common men which constructed 961 schools across hills and plain areas of Tripura were announced to shutdown, which is another black-history painted by the BJP Govt by three factors losses to the common men. However, in damage repair Govt has announced transportation cost will be carried by the Govt.
