AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): As statewide no arrest of BJP hooligans in various violence related cases, CPI-M State Secretary Gautam Das via a press conference today from the Melarmath CPI-M Party Headquarter asked Tripura Police head, DGP A K Sukla, for how many days people have to wait for those when criminals will be arrested without selective party colours ?

Even in Bishalagrah party office attack incident even after CCTV footage revealed the criminals’ faces nobody was arrested.

“We also want to ask police, whether opposition parties have any right to hold party meetings and rallies or not ? The whole state just has been handed over to BJP hooligans”, said Das.

youtu.be/cI7fhKu5IvM   TIWN YouTube Link, CPI-M State Secretary Gautam Das asks DGP when law and order will be fixed in Tripura ?.

A delegation visited Bishalgrah party office, under Sepahijala District after the party office was attacked by 16th October in front of police when a meeting was going on led by CPI-M MLA Bhanulal Saha.

“Across the country, economic disasters have hit the public lives, affected working class’s people massively. Against it, when across the state protests were organized, police didn’t permit any rally at Bishalgarh. Later cancelling the rally, a meeting was conducted without microphone but in front of police, the BJP hooligans came and attacked our leaders, destroyed, vandalized the party office massively, but even after complaining no action was taken whereas this is not the first time that BJP has attacked our party office there”, said Gautam Das.

“Even on September 5 and 6 openly in meetings, broad day light attacks were held. FIR was lodged in Bishalgarh police station but not a single arrest was done. Will this continue like this ?”, asks Gautam Das.

It can be mentioned here that Bishalgarh, Udaipur, and places in South Tripura are majorly affected by BJP’s political deadly attacks whereas police’s role remained to save the BJP activists. Even Gautam Das was attempted to be killed on national highway after BJP youth activists stopped the vehicle and attacked him physically. So far nobody was arrested at there.
