AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday has asked the Education Dept to develop a Bania-culture with Education system and to commercialize the Educational methods, lessons aimed to generate a ‘Commercial Mentality’ among the children so that they do not suffer from unemployment after they passed out. CM was addressing at the Annual State Award for Academic Excellence to School Students programme at Rabindra Bhawan (Agartala) and said, “There is no Goddess Durga who only brings Laxmi alone with her or Saraswati alone with her. But Laxmi and Saraswati both remain with her. She brings Laxmi, Saraswati, Kartik, Ganesh for their various types of qualities. Ofcourse Durga puja means the win of good over evil but along with it this festival symbolizes how all talents are needed in this life------as knowledge lies in Ganesh, Warrior’s power as in Kartik, Saraswati known for Education and Wisdom and also Laxmi who symbolizes the wealthâ€.
“Today I want to request the Education Minister that he must drive the Education system with two motives, one is : Education and other is Economy”.CM further praised “Commercialization of Education” saying, “Before 50 years nobody could imagine that private Education could be developed in India. Higher Education was almost empty in the Commercialization field. Nobody could think about private Engineering and Medical Colleges on those time but today things are different”.CM further heavily criticized those parents who stop their children from talking to elders in big issues, specially business issues.

According to Biplab Deb, parents must talk about business in front of children so that they can know about economy and can think about their future from their childhood.
“A mentality was created in Tripura that children should not talk with elders with big issues. Whenever a child talks about such issues, parents scold him/her asking why s/he is interested in elders’ talks. But this mentality has to be changed or their child can never be self-dependent”, said CM.

“I am first time talking about Economic mentality. If at the early stage we can understand the policy of life, then unemployment will not haunt us when we grows up”, said Deb.
“If children know economy from beginning, they will not know what is unemployment, otherwise they only think about unemployment after graduations”, said CM.
