Former CM Manik Sarkar hits Modi Govt for economic slowdown

AGARTALA, Oct 25 ( TIWN ) : Former CM and Polit Bureau member Manik Sarkar hitting Modi Govt for the recent economic slow down in India said that, " Owners are closing their factories as products are not selling out and for that poor workers are loosing their chance to earn their bread and butter. "

He also claimed that the country has not seen such unemployment in last 40-45 years. Though Modi Govt is trying to supress the economic status related data but through the international surveys the actual data are coming out and it's showing how crucial the situation is becoming.

Sarkar also said, " Such condition of India is heading the country to face the biggest economic problem in upcoming days. It's not our words but economist who are famous across the whole World for their excellence are saying so. "

It is to mention that recent Nobel Laureate Abhijit Banerjee in economic science, when asked to comment on economy of India said that, " The economy is doing very bad in my view. the fact that we see in that is that between 2014-15 and 2017-18, that number has slightly gone down. And that's the first time such a thing has happened in many years so that's a very glaring warning sign."
