AGARTALA, Oct 23 (TIWN): While attending a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan programme, Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said that Agartala city is now the target of the Govt to make it total clean so that it can make a position among top 10 clean cities in India. However, the leaders who are seen in cleaning the already cleaned areas could not help out the real situations and thus the Howrah river lined area’s people complained that they are unable to bear the dirtiness across the area for last 3 months around.

They also complained to the Pollution Control Board and local authority but the situation remained unsatisfactory and as it is. Rather in last few months, the situations are worsened.

However, on yesterday Ratanlal Nath was addressing media during a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, claimed,  “Everyone has to take responsibility for that to make Agartala the cleanest city. Now, Agartala is not among top-10 cities. Now Tiruchirappalli, Chandigarh, Gangtok like cities are in top positions. We have to take our state’s capital to that position”, but the reality is just disgusting and horrible to bear.
