Another ruthless face of Tripura Police exposed : Two youths severely beaten by Gomati Dist Police, Police turned Lawless

UDAIPUR, Oct 24 (TIWN) : For making a video on a irresponsible police constable who was riding bike without helmet, two persons got beaten black and blue by Gomati Police.

The incident took place in Udaipur. Victims said that on monday night a police constable of RK Pur PS was riding a bike without any helmet and by seeing the protector of Rule and Law is breaking it himself , the victims i.e Mohiuddin and Padmanava Roy decided to capture it on camera. Seeing them making a video, imediately that constable took them in RK Pur PS. While taking them in, he was slapping one of them constantly. And after that they severely beat them by wooden stick, boot and other things. They snatched their mobiles from them and deleted the video and left the mobiles switched off. After three hours of constant torture they left them injured in the lock up. Getting their phone switched off, when the worried parents came to police to file an missing diary, they found them their and took them home in the early morning.

While describing the whole incident to media they were not able to stand properly. Without any crime they got beaten this badly by Gomati police.  The victims mentioned that on next morning when they went to RK Pur PS to file a case against this illegal actions of police, they denied to file any case. People from all over Tripura are criticising on such an inhuman and illegal activity of police.

Now those poor helpless victims submitted a letter to Ramesh Reddy, SP Gomati Dist, describing the whole matter and seeking for justice. Now it is to be seen how much justice will be served in this lawless state.
