AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): At the very beginning of his arrival, on being asked by media what is the purpose of the visit General Secretary of National Congress Luizinho Faleiro said, “The sole purpose of my visit is to listen to everyone. What do they want, to know their views, to understand the organization, to understand their aspirations. Then we will go back and contract Congress president to restructure the party here”.

It can be mentioned here that Tripura Congress’s former President Pradyot Manikya has recently resigned over NRC issue and blaming Falerio that he told him to withdraw NRC.

However, after talking to Falerio, it’s sure now that the Congress party at Centre has no idea what is going on in the party and this Falerio today will listen to everyone and what is their stand.

 National Congress is reportedly seeing its future in Tripura in 2023 Assembly Election and in the upcoming elections, asked State Congress leaders to kick off membership drive.

Congress leader Bhupen Borah has also visited Tripura with Falerio.

Congress leader Advocate Pijush Kanti Biswas said, Central Congress has understood that due to various lapses a misunderstanding was created which fueled BJP’s membership back in 2017-18 but now people have understood BJP’s fake leaderships and thus it’s high time that Congress will be started working in Tripura at full wave.
