AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today has met party worker Subodh Majumder who was injured in a brutal political attack after he joined CPI-M’s martyr day programme which was conducted to remember killed party workers in 1988’s massacre by the then Congress Govt at Bir Chandra Manu.

In various attacks in organized way many persons were injured on yesterday who joined the same programme.

When Manik Sarkar went to meet Subodh Majumder, he requested Manik Sarkar to tell the Doctor to release him, but Manik Sarkar asked him to listen to the Doctor’s order word by word.

Talking to media later, Sarkar said, “Actually this injured party worker, whose age is above 70 doesn’t know in what condition he is now. He wants to go home before puja as without him nobody is there to earn”.

On being asked by media about the continuous violence on CPI-M, Sarkar said, this is nothing but BJP is unable to see own faces as their fake promises and their true colours are now exposed before public.

Subhod Majumder was attacked by BJP who is now fighting for life at GB Hospital while going to BC Manu to observed martyrs day.

Manik Sarkar also thanked a girl who was going in a car and seeing Subodh Majumder left injured picked up him on car and admitted in local hospital, whereas common men were standing just like mute spectators.
