AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): Four top BMS activists were arrested for attacking people and extorting poor idol sellers at the Battala market.

It was around 9.30 when under the flyover few idol sellers were sitting with idols like every year and all of a sudden these BMS activists came and started seeking commission.

When few local youths protested, the BMS activists from the BMS office brought rods and thick sticks and hit them. Seeing that violence, local people together beaten the BMS activists and handedover them to police.
