AGARTALA, Oct 9 (TIWN): West District administration has conducted a meeting led by DM West Sandeep Mahatme, SP West Ajit Pratap Singh and other officials aimed to conduct a peaceful immersion process in this Durga puja.

A committee was formed to fulfill that purpose with the members named : 1)  Amit Rakshit, 2) Papia Dutta, 3)Rajib Bhattacharjee, 4) Baharul Islam Majumder, 5) Achinta Bhuia, 6) Victor Shome, 7) Dr Alok Bhattacharjee, 8) Arunava Nandi.

The starting of the Visarjan procedure will be started from Post Office Chowmuhani which will go to Dasami-ghat via Paradise Chowmuhani.

The procession to be started from 4 pm.

The clubs from AD Nagar side to reach Post Office Chowmuhani at 3 pm.

It was said by the committee that no club shall carry their idols in large, long carrier, more specifically 12 wheelers trucks as it may cause inconvenient in movement.
