After Onion, price hike hits Tomato eaters

AGARTALA, Oct 9 (TIWN): The festive season has turned sour with the price of tomato escalating to Rs. 80 to Rs. 90 per kilo in retail markets of Agartala. Already onions are selling for Rs 60. The normal average cost of each is Rs 20-25.
Across the country same price hike problems are going on.
Prices are expected to remain high till November 3-4, engulfing the state's assembly election which is due October.
