AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Oct 4 (TIWN): Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reportedly has signaled green for the direct flight connectivity between Dhaka and Agartala.
The report came after Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb met the neighboring country Prime Minister Sheikh Hasian at Delhi, attended in a dinner invited by the Prime Minister.
The meeting took place in the presence of Meghalaya Governor Tathagata Roy, BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav, Meghalaya Governor Tathagata Roy, Gulam Nabi Azad, and Bangladesh external affairs Minister E A Momen, Bangladesh High Commission New Delhi , Tripura official M Nagaraju.
It has been known that Tripura CM also urged to Bangladesh PM regarding BBIN services and source informed that Sheikh Hasina has informed to Deb they are going positive in this regard.
Govt of India and Bangladesh is going to sign some agreement in this BBIN implementation is included.
In another Development Bangladesh Gov't is ready to declare with GOI Sonamura Waterways as International Protocol rout.
In relaxation items 14 more items going to be included in the export route for Tripura, which is another long pending demand.
