AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Oct 2 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb and Education Minister Ratanlal Nath on Wednesday participated in ‘Swachhata’ rally at the State Capital city Agartala along with other dignitaries to mark Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.
The programme was conducted on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary. Mahatma Gandhi is known as the Father of the Nation.
Colourful rally, tableaus were organized on this occasion.
The cleanliness driver was named under quote of "Swachhata hi Seva”.
After attending a Prabhat Feri, CM said in a social media post, “Mahatma Gandhi ji's life stands an inspiration to us and gives us strength to work hard for making a New India. His unmatched sacrifices for Nation can never be forgotten”.
