AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): Tripura CM Biplab Deb today held wide-range of discussion on Bamboo industrialization, met the investors and artisans.
Tribal Welfare Minister Mebar Jamatia, TIDC Chairman Tinku Roy and other high Govt officials were present on those occasions. Officials, investors in details held discussion about plans and futuristic projects, proposed thought before the Chief Minister.
CM is also holding the Dept of Industry in Tripura, has targetted revenue generation and massive employment via Industrial growth.
Biplab Deb said, “State Tripura is home to 21 species of bamboo out of 130 species available in India. Now corporate taxes in India are the lowest in whole world and thus investors are expected to come in wide number”.
CM further mentioned, even after having much potentialities for Industry in the Northeast India, the revenue has always been less due to lack of industrialization.
Deb laid importance on investments and industrialization which will measure the development of Tripura in future.
In a social media post, DM said, “Our Govt is committed to build bamboo sector as a major livelihood provider & provide employment opportunities”.
CM was seen in a long interaction with the bamboo artisans who came from various corners of the state. Many of them praised the 18 months old Govt.
