AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): After Agartala, Khowai, Udaipur now in Teliamura one more rape incident has been reported, crossing the layers of public tolerance. Police have arrested two persons 1) Surajit Debbarma (24) and 2) Arvind Debbarma (23) in this incident. The rape victim told media that these two persons attacked her at around 4 am on Sundat and pressed her mouth and then raped her brutally. The incident took place on very early morning Sunday (4 am). She did not complain on that time but today morning after she complained, police have arrested both of them after the FIR was lodged. The two accused persons have been produced before the court today and police have appealed for police-remand to the court. When Durga puja is left for 4 days, which symbolizes “Devi Bandana” that is worshiping a woman, one after one gang-rape incidents are horrifying the state. Tripura’s law and order in a serious stage with 240 rapes, 117 minor girls’ rapes, 3 murders after rapes’ cases were registered from 2018 April to 2019 July month.

One more rape incident which has further shocked the public is a murder after rape. This incident which is now hitting the common men took place at Udaipur. This time, the victim was killed after gang-rape, which has shuttered the voice of the victim. This report already came in local newspapers in Tripura. The incident was reported from Khilpara, Udaipur, Gomati District.Clothless dead body of a housewife was recovered in the house after her husband returned home in the evening.Hearing his screaming, local people rushed to the home, informed police. The body has been sent for post mortem and the investigation has been started. Before post mortem report, police however has not confirm it as gang-rape incident.

At Khowai on Saturday another rape allegation  was reported. Students came in massive protest against this “Rape Culture” developed in the criminal dominated society.

Tripura was yet to overcome the shocks of horrifying gang-rape incident at the Usha Bazar when this inhuman gang-rape took place in Udaipur.In September 24 another woman was kidnapped, gang-raped at Agartala Usah Bazar but 3 police stations denied to lodge FIR allegedly after pressure came from a ruling MLA. The incident disclosed to media after almost 24 hours when the survived victim was under treatment in critical situation at the TMC hospital.

In a prominent place like Agartala which has been ranked second in smart city yet to be installed with enough CCTV cameras resulted 10 person led gang-rape of a housewife brutally, when just a month back a woman via Battala auto was gang-raped.

Usha-Bazar gang-rape incident’s accused persons were produced before the court by covering their faces with black colour clothes and two sent under “Juvenile Justice Board” on the day one. 4 accused persons today will be produced before the court.
