Opposition CPI-M organized statewide massive protests, road blockade in demand of Work, Food, Employment & Restoration of Democracy

AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): In the wake of ADC Election, indigenous wings of CPI-M has been strengthened and the party has started to work to the root level of mass-agonies led by senior leaders as Jitendra Chaudhury, Radha Charan Debbarma, Naresh Jamatia and youth leaders. Amid BJP’s win in the Badharghat by-election, Tripura has observed statewide massive public-protests, specially fueled by the Leftist wings with various demands to the Govt including ‘food’, ‘work’, ‘pending MGNREGA wage’, ‘employment’, ‘restoration of democracy’. CPI-M reportedly ahas been conducting various programmes, rallies across Tripura and started working at the grand ss-level after 18 months of the BJP Govt it has successfully restored its suppressed base in the state. In the recent time, the party organized various protests, rallies along with the biggest ever rally organized on Sep 16 at Agartala by its youth wings. CPI-M has been backing various economic problems faced by the common men which have been affecting mostly the poor and middle class people due to various wrong economic steps of the Govt.

Specially the taxations’ impositions are vapouring heating waves of resentment added by recently scrapping of free medical service in govt hospitals.

Apart from law  and order issues, rape, gang-rape like sensitive incidents, CPI-M is focusing on the economic crisis and problems through which deep rural and ADC areas are suffering.

Rallies organized in Killa of Udaipur by Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP), CPI-M’s indigenous wing led by former MP Jitendra Chaudhury, Naresh Jamatia and other leaders.

Another public protest was staged at Hejamara in demand of pending wages of MGNREGA, which are yet to be cleared although Durga puja is knocking doors.

In Jampui another massive protest was staged led by GMP.
