AGARTALA, Sep 25 (TIWN): In a barbaric incident a housewife was brutally raped by 10 accused in Narshingarh on yesterday.

She was kidnapped from GB to Arundhutinagar road when she was returning home.

The victim after rape, attempted to be murdered. The incident was lately informed to media as police were allegedly under pressure by a local ruling party MLA.

Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, former Ministers Badal Choudhury, Ratan Bhowmik visited TMC hospital and met the victim, talked to the victim’s husband.

As always, Women Commission kept a ‘mute’ role over the incident. 

Congress leaders also met the victim the hospital, reported her condition is much critical.
