AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb was seen on Monday in lunch with public on banana leaf and using steel glasses instead of plastic-made, giving a message ‘not to use’ plastic made plates / glasses.

Tripura Govt at the same time has started campaigning to curb plastic uses in the state,  motivating alternative uses of plastic items.

The picture was taken after the 'Janata Darbar' programme at Damcherra when CM had lunch with our Gov't officials and locals.

“Today's lunch was really special & I am delighted to share with you all that we did not use any plastic plate or glass for lunch”, CM tweeted.
