AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): Resident of Sonamura Abul Hassan was arrested today by AD Nagar Police with huge numbers of yaba tablet from Agartala-Sonamura bus.

Police were informed via secret sources that a bus bearing number TR07-1224 was going to Sonamura from Nagerjala bus-stand in Agartala at around 7 am.

Accordingly, AD Nagar police raided the bus and arrested him on spot. Total 50,000 yaba tablets from 5 packets were seized.

Accused Abul Hasan is now interrogated by police, to be produced before the court. Case registered against Abul Hassan under NDPS. 

Police suspected that these yaba tablets were taken for cross-border trafficking.
