AGARTALA, Sep 20 (TIWN): BJP’s Secretary of the Khowai District Manoj Das has joined CPI-M and also many BJP members have joined CPI-M with him.

Manoj Das was earlier in CPI-M, but joined BJP before the Assembly Election-2018. Party State Secretary Gautam Das has welcomed him and other BJP members in the party.While joining, Manoj Das took blessing by touching Gautam Das’s feet.

Addressing public, Manoj Das said, “It was my mistake to join BJP. The 18 months Govt only has done anti-people activities. Public tolerance crossed all limits of tortures. Contractors have to give 10% Commission. Per brick 1 rupee commission is taken by local BJP in Khowai. What did they promise in Vision Document and what are they doing today ?”

“Why the roadways conditions are so pathetic ? In CPI-M’s time families carry Rs.10,000 before puja in rural areas, but in this Durga puja, they are unable to buy anything for their children. Can people survive in this way ?”, said Das.

He added, “I left CPI-M but didn’t leave people of Khowai. Today all are saying,“আঠারোর à¦­à§à¦², à¦†à¦° à¦¨à§Ÿ à¦ªà¦¦à§à¦® à¦«à§à¦²”(It was a mistake to cast votes for BJP in 2018, thus no more Lotus).

Manoj Das asked CPI-M activists to increase mass-level communication.

He also criticized CPI-M leaders who deny public phone call.

“To whom do people go ? We have to give them support. Public are so scared due to massive tortures done by BJP in last 18 months”, he said.

Manoj Das sounded with confidence saying, CPI-M has to rebuild all bulldozed party offices soon.
