AGARTALA, Sep 20 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb has campaigned for Badharghat-14 by election candidate Mimi Majumder on Friday.

Tight security blanket was deployed during and before the rally of the Chief Minister.

Mimi Majumder is a former school teacher, a totally new face in Tripura politics.

By-election to be held on September 23rd in the Badharghat-14 constituency. The seat left vacated after BJP MLA Dilip Sarkar passed away. 

CPI-M has nominated Bulti Biswas and Congress’s candidate is Ratan Das.
