AGARTALA, Sep 19 (TIWN): After Uttarakhand rooted, Tripura cadre Yatindra Kumar (popularly known as Y Kumar) went in voluntary retirement, now Lalit Kumar Gupta (L K Gupta) who was the Chief Secretary of Tripura, now posted as the head of SIPARD has gone in voluntary retirement.

Lalit Kumar Gupta is 1987 batch of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, Tripura cadre. 

Gupta held a spotless, clean image throughout his IAS career.

He was former Chief Secretary but after Lok Sabha Election, Gupta was shifted to another department removing him as Chief Secretary. It was indeed rarest incident in Tripura’s bureaucratic-reshuffling history.
