AGARTALA, Sep 18 (TIWN): Broad-day light attack in house at Usha Bazar (Agartala) by miscreants have been reported.

The incident took place when the state is celebrating Viswakarma Puja. The household where Viswakarma puja was going on, they sent their son to buy fruits and sweet. The boy came in debates with some miscreants of that area who keep themselves engage in tablet-consuming and also keep illegal arms with them.

After the verbal argument developed, the miscreants along with their relative cames in the victim’s house and further threatened them and soon in huge numbers a group of people came with “Da”, sticks, rod and had beaten children, women and family heads. The houseowner rushed from spot and then took shelter  under bed.

Police visited the spot and started investigation.

The accused are : Sanket Majumder S/O- Shyamal Majumder, Dilip Majumder, Subrata Majumder. Total 15 to 20 people were in the group.
