AGARTALA, Sep 18 (TIWN): When West Bengal Government led by Mamata Banerjee has announced all types of facilities in hospitals like treatment, diagnostics, and medicines all are free, Tripura Govt has scrapped Free Medical Service, giving a glimpse what is going to happen in Bengal if BJP comes in power at there.

In addition, FREE treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in private hospitals is also made available to 7.5 crore citizens of Bengal under Swasthya Sathi scheme.

Criticising the BJP Govt, CPI-M said, under Left Govt treatment was almost free of cost and Govt was aimed to make it 100% but the new BJP Govt's inhuman decision of stopping free medical services is just "shocking".
