AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb has inaugurated the much awaited Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Centre's foundation stone at Agartala Cancer hospital today.

While addressing on that occasion, Chief Minister Biplab Deb took a jibe at the opposition and the critics, “They are unable to accept the time. Their work is to do negative propaganda against Tripura and badmouthing against Tripura. PM Modi, Amit Shah believe in the time-needs and working in that direction”.

“The oppositions have no idea where Tripura is standing today but they will stretch Tripura behind. They don’t understand Article-370 and NCERT. They do not want state’s son and daughters to go to abroad but their own children are studying in abroad”, said CM.

“We are not against development. Large numbers of English Medium schools have been started in our Govt’s time. But our Govt is not British slave and thus PM Modi has removed the system of attesting certificates by officers which started in British Govt era and for long 70 years they followed the British and worked as agent of British”, said Deb.

“Why the so called CPI-M Nari Samiti didn’t voice against Tin-Talak?”, CM added.

CM further urged people to help the Govt to make a new Tripura and to successfully make the state as model Tripura.
