SONAMURA (Tripura), Sep 9 (TIWN): While talking about the scrapping of Free Medical Service in Govt hospitals, former CM Manik Sarkar mentioned about the incumbent Law Minister Ratanlal Nath hinting his opportunistic attitude and double-game in politics since few years.
Manik Sarkar said Ratan-Babu who was “half-Congress, half-BJP” before election and after election “Full BJP” is slammed today by his own people. Manik Sarkar said while referring a true incident when a person was alleging to one CPI-M ex-Minister about Health Dept’s brutal decision.
Sarkar further asked comrades to come out of ‘Freeze’ condition as people are now openly, fearlessly joining in CPI-M rally and their resentments against the Govt is visible and need a support base like a strong opposition party.
Sarkar was addressing in rally at Sonamura organized by Kishan-sabha in demand of wage, pension hike like issues.
Political analysts doubting Law Minister Ratanlal Nath’s role behind unpopular decisions of the BJP Govt. For example, why CM Biplab Deb who never hurt any teacher tuned the same voice of Ratanlal Nath by calling “10323 teachers as unqualified ?” The stage was also occupied by Education Minister Ratanlal Nath. Earlier Ratanlal Nath was infamous for insulting 10323 teachers but suddenly CM Biplab Deb turned the enemy of 10323 teachers after his unnecessary statement.
Also Ratanlal Nath was seen politically close to Pratima Bhowmik, who allegedly wants to be the next CM (alleged by rival group inside BJP). Today a regional party has demanded replacement of CM. All these hints a big-intrigue against CM Biplab Deb, in a calculative manner aimed to portray him as a ‘brutal character’. Even on yesterday, Congress leader Subal Bhowmik also said, such decisions are not of only the CM but someone else is playing behind. Such decisions also damaged BJP’s image ahead of by-election.
